Microwave RICE Disinfestation System
Brief Introduction
Adopt microwave belt dryer and special microwave processing method for rice disinfection treatment. The traditional practice used to control the weevil infestation is treating rice with chemical fumigation using Methyl Bromide or Phosphine. Compared to traditional chemical fumigation, microwaves can safely and thoroughly kill adult weevils, eggs and mould under low temperature, and without any residues of chemical fumigation. Microwave energy penetrates rice and vibrates the water molecules of weevils, then kills all adult weevils, even larvae, eggs and pupae.
By using the hygiene, environmental friendly, effectively microwave method, rice can be stored in a long time also with full taste and nutrients.
